Maaco Auto Body Shop & Painting

The paint job on my vehicle had to be touched up twice; first whenever I picked up my car. Paint was on areas that if were quality checked- would not have been an issue. It was raining, so we didn’t catch everything until a week or two later. Had to take my car back and have them touch up more areas, as well as remove paint from the black vinyl. None of this should have been my responsibility to address with a business. I paid for a service and expected a professional business to quality check their work before giving my vehicle back to me. On a positive note: after the touch ups, etc. the car looks beautiful. I hope the paint job holds up.

I brought my 2014 Honda Ridgeline to Maaco in Corpus Christi with moderate rust damage throughout and requested that they repair and repaint the vehicle. The vehicle is parked only a quarter mile from the Gulf and metal corrosion is very common in this area. I was told that Maaco warranted their work for 90 days. I picked the vehicle up and it looked like new however 6 months later I noticed the beginning of the reemergence of rust, particularly around the windows. I brought the vehicle back to Maaco and was advised that despite being way beyond the warranty they would repair and repaint the vehicle for $0. Brought the vehicle back on March 23 and sure enough the vehicle was repaired and repainted as promised a week later. My heartfelt thanks to Vicki and Glenda for their courtesy throughout. I highly recommend that if your vehicle needs body repair and/or repainting then Maaco on SPID in Corpus Christi is where you want to go.

Unbelievable quality job. We had blistering clear coat on our 2008 crv. The car looks like new.

Wow! This body shop is truly professional and goes above and beyond for their customers. I brought my Tesla Model 3 in with some rear body damage, and Maaco repaired it in just two days! When I picked up my car, it looked brand new—almost like they had detailed it. It was washed, vacuumed, and the repair work looked flawless. I’m extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend them for any auto body and paint needs.

Just moved into town and this was my first impression of services in Corpus Christi on my 3rd day in town. Originally brought in my truck to paint the driver side door handle. I do not have a problem with the job itself, but it is what happened after the fact. When I brought the truck home, I noticed three things. I had an empty gallon tank of paint thinner and masking tape in the bed of my truck which almost flew out of the back of the bed on the way highway. Secondly, my dashboard and leather steering wheel was scratched up and had paint on it. Lastly, the driver side door on the inside had paint on the interior. So, I came in with one problem, fixed it, but left with other problems. In all fairness, when I called the front desk, the representative did ask me if I could bring it in. However, the front desk representative also denied that it not their paint thinner and they “use a 5 gallon container.” This led me to believe that they would most likely not do anything about it so I never gave them the chance. I had to pay a professional detailer to remove as much of the paint on the interior and steering wheel (still remnant spots that did not come off) as well as try and buff out
